about
Hi, I'm Akansha, and I study math and physics at the University of Chicago. My driving desire is to understand what it means to understand. Can a system understand the world without lived experience? Does understanding have structure? What does it even mean for a system—or a person—to understand itself?
In my free time, I love to read and write, although the quality of my writing seems to suggest that I don't do either very often (feel free to check and judge accordingly). I also enjoy learning cool math and interesting philosophy—I believe both are necessary for rational inquiry into the nature of our reality.
